Adachi Shingo is an animator living in Osaka, Japan. After graduating from Osaka University of the Arts, he did independent animation with his wife. He is known for being the chara-designer of the anime adaptation of Sword Art Online. He is also chief animation director (ep 1-2), animation director (OP 1) and sponsor Background Illustration (ep 1).
